In business since 1967, Truck and Transportation Equipment Company is a final stage truck manufacturer providing the southern part of the country top quality truck equipment. We transform your incomplete cab and chassis – of any model truck – to a finished vehicle, customized to meet your exact requirements.

Truck andTransportation was one of the major support organizations for the City of New Orleans, Plaquemines Parish, St. Tammany Parish and Jefferson Parish immediately following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. We are listed with all municipalities, now as first responders and have municipal re-entry passes for staff to be back in town immediately following any storm event to lend support for fleet vehicle needs.

Our offices and physical plant reside on eight acres of land that encompasses our eight buildings including a storage facility for large fleet vehicles.

We handle all of your custom hydraulic and chassis frame wheelbase alteration requirements in our main shop, and our heavy fabrication shop can produce any truck body request you or your customers would need. Finally, our finishing shop has a four bay enclosed paint shop with a full-size spray-booth that takes the equipment to complete status and ready for delivery.

We receive direct chassis deliveries each day from the various carriers all over the country. Being located one block from the Mississippi River in a port city like New Orleans, we are very use to taking new products and delivering trucks to the Port of New Orleans for global shipment.
